The Orphanage

Duc Le grew up in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He moved to Germany to study architecture and is bringing his creative vision to life as an architect. He has always dreamed of building something that creates better opportunities for the children in his home country. Now, with LittleBigDreams, he can make that vision real. Duc not only supervises the building projects, but also serves as a bridge between Vietnamese and German, so that communication and understanding come more easily.

Roxane Hüttemann grew up in Herford in East Westphalia and moved to Hamburg to study modern Indology. Alongside her work at an international company, she volunteers in many different ways. Becoming a sponsor with LittleBigDreams fulfilled a wish close to her heart, and she is glad to bring her experience in association work to LittleBigDreams.

Joshua Taylor lives in Hamburg and studies computer science. Joshua is the techy among us and understands things that are a real mystery to everyone else. He also works for an insurance provider and is deeply involved in the Ghanaian Christian community.

Julischka Hainzl grew up in Potsdam and, after finishing secondary school, completed an internship in a residential group for disadvantaged children and young people in Berlin. She then decided to study psychology in the Netherlands, where she met most of the team. Alongside her studies, she worked with children with special needs and at a drug counseling center. She is now a child and adolescent psychologist in Hamburg.

Johannes Jamroszczyk grew up in Hannover. After completing his training as a nurse in psychiatry, during which he also gained experience as deputy chair of the trainee representatives, he moved to the Netherlands to study psychology. He then began a master's in innovation management and founded his startup Charit. Johannes and Klara were in Vietnam together and organized the fundraising project that came before LittleBigDreams was founded.

Sidney Hemphill was born in Berlin, where she is currently studying psychology. Her passion for helping children is the reason she is pursuing a career in child and adolescent psychology, and why she also volunteers for various charities in her free time.

Merle von Malottki has been part of the LittleBigDreams team since 2020. She currently works as a psychologist in a hospital and is deeply interested in yoga, mindfulness, and positive psychology.

Uwe Kattwinkel lives in Hamburg and worked for many years as communications director at international companies. In that role he was responsible for many CSR projects. He now works as a freelance consultant. He is treasurer and supports LittleBigDreams with everything to do with communications and figures.

Lia Cygon was born in Hamburg, now studies International Hospitality Management, and lives in Vienna. Before that she traveled the world for 19 months. During that time she worked, among other things, on a sustainability project in the hospitality sector and volunteered with Klara at an orphanage in China.

Kathrin Kattwinkel grew up in Hamburg and, since training as a communications specialist, has worked at various media companies. In her free time she volunteers for children in difficult situations. She is glad to bring that experience to LittleBigDreams.
